Anyone ever associated with a narcissist."[3]

Lyrics

[Verse 1]
White lies, but they're getting dark
Blurred lines, but they're getting clearer
Just tell the truth, ay, it's not that hard
You call me crazy
So am I crazy?
Your words don't hold any weight
I can't seem to get a straight answer
Don't trust you, but who's to blame?
I think you're crazy
But am I crazy?

[Pre-Chorus]
Got me second guessin' everything you say
Thinkin' that I know you, but you're really a stranger
Doin' what you gotta do to get your way
You're reckless and selfish and you can't help it

[Chorus]
Say you're talkin' to me honestly
But you're lyin' to me constantly, oh
All the bullshit, I don't need it
And honestly, I don't believe it, nah
Say you're talkin' to me honestly
But I don't want your dumb apology, no
Say you're sorry, you don't mean it
Sorry that I don't believe it, nah

[Verse 2]
Say too much, but it's not enough
Got me wonderin', 'what a lie you hiding?'
Did you lie when you called it love?
Or am I crazy?
Somebody save me

[Pre-Chorus]
Got me second guessin' everything you say
Thinkin' that I know you, but you're really a stranger
Doin' what you gotta do to get your way
You're reckless and selfish and you can't help it

[Chorus]
Say you're talkin' to me honestly
But you're lyin' to me constantly, oh
All the bullshit, I don't need it
And honestly, I don't believe it, nah
Say you're talkin' to me honestly
But I don't want your dumb apology, no
Say you're sorry, you don't mean it
Sorry that I don't believe it, nah

[Bridge]
Don't know what's reality
Made me question my sanity, oh
Don't know what's reality
Am I losing my sanity?

[Chorus]
Say you're talkin' to me honestly
But you're lyin' to me constantly, oh
All the bullshit, I don't need it
And honestly, I don't believe it, nah
Say you're talkin' to me honestly
But I don't want your dumb apology, no
Say you're sorry, you don't mean it
Sorry that I don't believe it, nah
Say you're talkin' to me honestly (I don't need it)
But you're lyin' to me constantly (I don't believe it, no)
Say you're talkin' to me honestly (I don't need it)
But you're lyin' to me constantly (I don't believe it, no)
(Say you're talkin' to me honestly
But you're lyin' to me constantly
Say you're talkin' to me honestly
But you're lyin' to me constantly, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)

[Encore]
Cross my heart and hope to die
You never cross my fucking mind
Do you know what your little lies do?
You know what I had to fight through
Nothing that you say is mildly true
Spit deceit through shifty smiles
Two faces you've had for a while
You act like such a fucking child
Who are you now?
You're so hostile to me
I'm feeling homicidal, you better run and try and hide
Ooh, I was livin' in denial
Through all this time you had me riled up
All the shit has finally piled up
There's no chance of reconciling us
With the falsehoods I've been filing away
For months, you've made these stories up
Sick from the untruths you're throwing up
Had me thinkin' I was crazy but
Turns out I'm your favorite thing to discuss
You keep on talking, shut it up
You keep rubbing salt into the cut
Broke the cycle, need to reconstruct
You're no use to me, I'm giving up

Baby, you're a loser and I'm ashamed to say I ever knew ya
A user, taking all I'd give ya
I swear to God, I'll never miss ya
Swear to God, I haven't missed ya
God I hope I never miss ya

Music video

On August 15, 2018, Hanna also released a double music video for the songs that was directed by Ryan Parma.[4] The first half of the five minute video is dedicated to "Honestly", displaying Hanna dancing alone in a warehouse featuring a white brick wall, flashing lights, and a single black folding chair. The video then transitions to Hanna being tangled in a metaphorical "web of lies" as "(Encore)" starts to play. She then desperately tries to escape the two men who have her tied up, ultimately failing and giving up.

Trivia

  • "Honestly" was originally written as a ballad in March 2018, featuring drastically different lyrics and a whole new melody.
